Dick Morris: Obama Using Border Crisis to Build a Democrat Nation

President Barack Obama, who as a candidate in 2008 said voters' choice of him would be "fundamentally transforming" for America, plans to deliver on that promise by turning millions of illegal immigrants into lifelong Democratic voters, political analyst Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Friday.

Amplifying themes in his forthcoming book, "Power Grab: Obama's Dangerous Plan for a One-Party Nation," Morris told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner that the ongoing flood of undocumented Central American migrants is key to the president's transformational aims.

"His goal is to get these kids in the United States and let them stay here," said Morris, citing a recent wave of illegal immigrants, including more than 57,000 children said to be fleeing drug gang violence in their home countries.

"His goal is to fudge the border between refugees fleeing a war and kids coming in," Morris said. "His goal is to make those who live here illegally look like citizens, act like citizens, have IDs like citizens, drive like citizens, and eventually vote like citizens.

"He wants to create a one-party country in the United States by taking 11 or 12 million Latinos — immigrants — gluing them to the Democratic Party and sending the message to Central America and Mexico, 'Come on in, we'll never throw you out,'" said Morris.

The White House has said most of the border children will be "fast tracked" for deportation back home.

But Morris said items in the president's $3.7 billion emergency request for managing the border crisis prove he's focused on resettlement, not deportation. The wish list calls for emergency housing, more immigration judges and defense lawyers, and overtime pay for immigration workers, said Morris.

The president, stung by accusations from Hispanics that he was the "deporter-in-chief," will also move on another, broader front to ensure the new arrivals can stay, said Morris.

"Working with the United Nations, Obama hopes to translate [immigrants] into refugees," he said. "Refugees usually are fleeing a war zone. He's going to try and pretend Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras are a war zone because of the drug violence. What we see as illegal immigrants, he'll see as asylum seekers.

"That puts it in the international courts," said Morris, "because the right of refugees is enshrined in the U.N. charter, and international law will take that issue away from the United States and let it be decided by the U.N. if he can succeed in having these kids seen as refugees, not as illegal immigrants."

If these maneuvers further alienate Obama from a public that already has soured on him, so be it.

"He doesn't care much about popularity. What he cares about is demographics," said Morris, pointing to the president's hangout at a Denver brew pup and billiards hall on Tuesday night, almost in defiance of members of his own party begging him to visit the border in Texas and show concern by seeing the crisis firsthand.

"I think that the Denver pool hall shot was sort of a way of saying, 'I don't give a damn,'" said Morris.

Constitutions are not designed for metaphysical or logical subtleties, for niceties of expression, for critical propriety, for elaborate shades of meaning, or for the exercise of philosophical acuteness or judicial research. They are instruments of a practical nature, founded on the common business of human life, adapted to common wants, designed for common use, and fitted for common understandings.

Morris stating the obvious.
For the progressive, there is very little to love about the United States. Washington, Jefferson, Madison? A bunch of rotten slaveholders, hypocrites, and cowards even when their hearts were in the right places. The Declaration of Independence? A manifesto for the propertied classes. The Constitution? An artifact of sexism and white supremacy. The sacrifices in the great wars of the 20th century? Feeding the poor and the disenfranchised into the meat-grinder of imperialism. The gifts of Carnegie, Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan, Astor? Blood money from self-aggrandizing robber barons. Nat Rev

Michael Savage refers to what Obama is doing with these southern migrants as, "ethnic replacement."

Seems people are catching on.

Dick Morris stating the obvious is not as effective as say, Mitt Romney saying it.  Or Scott Walker saying it.  Or even Rush Limbaugh saying it.

Morris saying it is an example of "if a tree falls in the forest.....?"

I think this is pure Cloward/Piven and he is just creating more chaos to declare a national emergency, and seize the government, when there is the inevitable race war coming from this.
