EPA Regulations Killing Family-Owned Peach Orchards

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

In my not so humble opinion, the real issue is "there is no large company (or agricultural comglomerate) that Obama can allow to fail.  On the other hand, there is none to small to help survive.  This is Obama's game plan in action, get rid of the thing that makes America a free enterprise giant (small business) which leaves mega businesses who receive their marching order from the government, just like in fascism.

Not going to say you are wrong - because you are not in the slightest.

Though the fact that every small business, family run farm and two or three location markets shut down by over regulation are the life blood of "flyover country" has to be a bonus in his book. Ain't no union dues there - just people risking it all to try get ahead.
