Quote
A handful of undocumented children, among the thousands held in federal facilities around the country, were flown to Atlanta to reunite with their families at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Wednesday.

The teenagers were escorted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with several other children from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, to reunite with their loved ones.

Federal Health and Human Services workers are trying to link some of the thousands of undocumented children flooding into the country, with relatives legally here, ICE officials say.

Margi Guzman, 17, and Ebander Guzman, 14, fled from Honduras and crossed the Rio Grande on foot into Texas. Their father, Omar Guzman, says the two were detained by Border Patrol in Houston.

Guzman and his wife are legally living in the U.S., and reside in Marietta.

Guzman says he is awaiting word from immigration officials on future orders. But for now, federal officials have asked him to place both his children in school.

Why didn't they have the kids with them to begin with? How long have they been legal in US?  How did HS/ICE find them?
