Miranshah looks like a ghost town.

As our helicopter hovered over North Waziristan's main town, not a single soul could be seen out in the bazaars or markets.

Local residents and shopkeepers had left in a hurry, it seems. In some parts of the bazaar most of the shops were half open, with saleable goods still on display as if the shopkeepers had just gone for prayers or a short break.

It looks like the Paki's are finally doing something about their internal problems.
I wonder when the lies will stop and truth begin, even as grim as the truth may be. And then I remember that for 70 years, the reign of terror in Russia called itself "the people's government." We have so far to fall, yet we are falling fast and Hell yawns to receive us.
