Darrell Issa: Holder Will Appoint IRS Special Prosecutor
« on: July 07, 2014, 05:57:33 AM »
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

If he does this, it will be the first thing Holder has done right.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

sez who (other than Issa)?

And even so, if Holder appoints one, he'll appoint a see-no-evil Obama bundler/supporter who, mirabile dictu, will find nothing but localized shenanigans in Cincinnati and will mysteriously get a really plum job at a liberal-controlled investment fund shortly thereafter.

I just reviewed what Issa really said, and it is vastly different than what this thread title implies.

The bottom line is that Eric Holder will never appoint an IRS special prosecutor, and that issue will come up specifically during the confirmation hearings for whomever Obammy decides to nominate.  After the elections this Fall, and if things go the way I suspect they will go, then when the next congress convenes next January this scandal among others will take on an entirely new meaning.
