McCain: Send Kerry to Israel
« on: July 06, 2014, 01:31:21 PM »

7/6/14 11:00 AM EDT

President Barack Obama should send Secretary of State John Kerry to Israel to help calm tensions there after the murders of Israeli and Palestinian teenagers, Sen. John McCain urged on Sunday.

"In this case, I think our secretary of state, Secretary Kerry, could go to the region and try to maybe do a little shuttle diplomacy," the Arizona Republican said on CBS's "Face the Nation." "This thing is in danger of spiraling out of control."

A Palestinian teenager was apparently burned alive last week in retaliation for the murder of three Israeli teenagers last month. Israeli authorities have arrested six men in connection with the Palestinian's murder.

Send Kerry?!

That's like trying to put out a fire using gasoline - after all, it's a liquid, it should work.

Jesus - send someone with sense, that both sides respect. I can think of a half dozen off the top of my head - Slick Willie would probably be best as far as WH optics are concerned, since he is respected there, but that'll never happen. The Worm hates him far too much.
Before you bitch about the youth of today ... think about who raised them.

John, why is it our business?

Maybe Putin can quell the unrest.

Our treasury and guns are depleted.

We have problems back home.

Send Kerry to Murrieta.
