"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."

Employers are not required to pay for food, clothing, and housing. Does this mean that people thereby are denied access to food, clothing, and housing? Do people starve to death in the United States because employers are not required by law to pay for food and water?

Employers are not require to pay for those things.

Slave owners are. Just a thought.

Didn't they try that policy already? Scrip/"company store" policy? It didn't work out so well.

"Not working out so well" to a liberal means they just weren't given the opportunity to perfect it.  They'll be back.  They always return.  Like roaches when the lights go out.
