Playing on Wood

Violins, Cellos, double basses, guitars and harps. All of them have one thing in common - they sound amazing.

Let's celebrate the art of plucking wires or rasping horsetail over cat entrails.

Sheer perfection - not much more to say.

Shredding a cello is an impressive feat.

I just love how this came out. Went from hard rock to pensive and wistful - and it still works perfectly.

For something a little more "earthy." The late and legendary Earl Scruggs and his almost as legendary group of friends.
