This isn't one battle, though. Mitch McConnell won. Lindsey Graham won. Thad Cochran is the third consecutive high-profile Republican neocon or liberal that has escaped from a primary. We ARE losing the war.

Apparently what the author wrote went in one ear, and out the other. He said it would take decades.

The article is a mature, insightful analysis of what is right and wrong with contemporary "conservatism."

BTW Cochran, Graham and McConnell are all better alternatives, than democrats. They are building blocks to a Senate majority.

Anybody that is unable to grasp that fact, is not worth the time for further discussion.

If the totality of one's political grasp is running Ted Cruz clones everywhere, expecting to reach a majority in both houses, they are deluded.
