Just another example of how the “Boy who would be king,” fails to play by the rules imposing his will upon all of us.

A Texas congressman has had a first-hand look at a porous southern border in which thousands of illegal immigrant children are flooding into the United States.

U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert took a helicopter ride with the Texas Department of Safety to get a bird’s-eye view of the Rio Grande River area, where illegal immigrants are being smuggled across the river.

Gohmert, a Republican, was responding to what media reports describe as a “humanitarian crisis” in which tens of thousands of Central American children are crossing into the United States and are then being housed, ferried and fed across the country by the federal government.

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin
