Boehner is not completely on his own with this lawsuit, but there are plenty of Republicans in the House who are ready for the torches and pitchforks.

IRS won't cough up those e-mails??  No problem.  Cut every salary of every single IRS employee until those e-mails are produced.

Justice won't enforce the law??  Cut Justice's budget in half until they do.

Homeland Security wants to act as a front for Obama's illegal immigration schemes??  Congress funds their budgets too.

Back in the eighties, IRS was conducting "compliance audits" on innocent taxpayers who had done nothing other than file a return.  IRS would select significant percentages of all returns filed and subject them to a full fledged anal exam style audit.  In most cases these audits produced nothing, and many times increased refunds, but the harassment was so bad that Congress pulled their funding and forced IRS to lay off a bunch of auditors, effectively killing the entire compliance auditing program entirely.

Boehner is stalling and making an ass of himself in the process.  He has tools and refuses to take them up, and begging a court to address what he refuses to is not the answer.  Boehner is apparently oblivious to the message his good friend Eric Cantor just got....

Spending bills must originate in the House, but must also pass in the Senate and be signed by the potus.

The House therefore cannot unilaterally do those things the author discusses.

They're all great ideas Chief ...BUT..there's one problem. They don't have the nads to do it.
Boner is pissing in the wind, Obama and all his lawless bunch are running rampant and nobody will DO ANYTHING that is meaningful.
Every action is geared towards elections.
Oh sure, there are a few good guys but this is as pathetic a bunch as has ever been assembled in Congress and our government agencies.

Just once, JUST ONCE, JUST ONCE, I'd like to see something actually done that throws some of these criminals in jail.
