Just in time for Pride Week, New York's state and city controllers -- backed up by the might of their respective pension system holdings -- are pushing major corporations to lay out what they're doing to protect their LGBT workers worldwide.

State Controller Thomas DiNapoli and his city counterpart, Scott Stringer, made the request Friday in a joint letter to 20 U.S. firms in which they hold a combined $13 billion in investments.
