You May Be Surprised By What Is More Common In Obama’s America Than A New Job

“This ought to be the epitaph of this administration..."

Nearly six years into an Obama administration mired in scandal and economic malaise, any identifiable recovery from the 2008 recession has been anemic at best. While his leftist policies have yet to put a significant dent in the staggering unemployment rate, however, American Values President Gary Bauer did point to one statistic that illustrates Barack Obama’s accomplishments.

“This ought to be the epitaph of this administration,” Bauer said during a recent Faith and Freedom Coalition conference; “in the last five years under this president, more babies have been aborted than jobs have been created.”

CNS News cited two Bureau of Labor Statistics indicating how many jobs have been created since Obama’s inauguration in January 2009. Seasonally-adjusted calculations reveal a net increase of about 3,662,000 jobs, while non-seasonally-adjusted numbers suggest growth well under 6 million jobs.

Either way, as Bauer pointed out, there have likely been far more abortions performed during the same time period. In 2008, about 100,000 unborn babies were slaughtered in the U.S. each month, meaning that more than 6,600,000 abortions have been performed thus far in the Obama administration if that rate remained steady.

Continuing his criticism of Obama’s pro-abortion stance, Bauer ridiculed the president’s change to his party’s own platform regarding the issue. What was previously stated as a belief that fetal murder should be “safe, legal, and rare” has since been changed to “safe and legal … regardless of ability to pay,” he said.

“Obama’s operatives said, ‘Why rare?’” Bauer concluded. “I mean, we should be proud of this. Why would we want something that is such a wonderful right to be rare?”

The former presidential candidate continued, assessing Obama’s position on abortion as “radical” and insisting that “he totally ignores the fact that it’s black babies disproportionately that never get to take the first breath of freedom in this country.”

Add another 'SUCCESS' by the Obama Administration.

Who cares how many are aborted?   He's replacing them with Hispanics from Central America.

And that, my friend, is why the media is forbidden at the Southern border right now.

Another classic example of DISTRACTION.  Do not look at what is happening over here - LOOK! over there!  Look at all of these poor little children!

With all the "distraction" goin' on, how much of a job would it be to smuggle the components of a nuclear weapon into the country across the now next-to-nonexistant southern border?

The components would not be hard, especially for a gun-style weapon.  Getting the material to make it work is extremely difficult to virtually impossible and just as hard to transport safely.

While I agree that getting the material to make a nuke is difficult and even a gun style weapon requires precision engineering, that's not the only type of nuke. A conventional bomb, say a truck bomb, with a large amount of radioactive isotopes around the core is a quick and dirty way of killing a lot of people. If a couple of dipwads can create death, destruction and panic with nothing more than some firecrackers, ball bearings, and a couple of pressure cookers, imagine what a bomb that spews out radioactives would do.

4 medical isotope shipments have been hijacked in Mexico so far this year .... and there isn't really much of a black market for those.
