http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgOBxFCAIaQ Ah, the religion of peace is at it again. “Peace-loving” militants who belong to the terrorist army known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (or ISIS) have claimed credit for the murder of over 1700 Iraqi men who were part of Iraq’s army.
Sunni Islamist militants claimed on Sunday that they had massacred hundreds of captive Shiite members of Iraq’s security forces, posting grisly pictures of a mass execution in Tikrit as evidence and warning of more killing to come.

But with their claim, the Sunni militants were reveling in an atrocity that if confirmed would be the worst yet in the conflicts that roil the region, outstripping even the poison gas attack near Damascus last year.
In an atmosphere where there were already fears that the militants’ sudden advance near the capital would prompt Shiite reprisal attacks against Sunni Arab civilians, the claims by ISIS were potentially explosive. And that is exactly the militant group’s stated intent: to stoke a return to all-out sectarian warfare that would bolster its attempts to carve out a Sunni Islamist caliphate that crosses borders through the region.
This simply continues a trend that we are witnessing throughout the Islamic World. Almost without fail, every Islamic nation in the world is facing extreme situations of violence, persecution and volatility.
ISIS3Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Myanmar, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Lebannon, Yemen, etc, etc, etc… all of these Islamic nations are facing serious upheaval or oppression or both. This is not simply politics as usual, but the common and usual narrative of ISLAMIC POLITICS.
Even nations that are not majority Muslim face the scourge of Islamic “Extremism.” Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, India, Israel, Russia and South Sudan are all under constant threat from Islamic violence and insanity.
Or nations like ours, where less than 2% of the population is Muslim, and yet we have been at war with Islamic terrorism for over a decade!
It’s time to recognize that Islam is a force for evil, the world over. In today’s world Islam is doing incredible harm wherever it reaches its malevolent hand.
Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Boko Haram and now ISIS… each new day adds a new Islamic group of violent evildoers into our collective vocabulary. When will this madness end?
You may not know much about ISIS today, but I think that all you need to know about them is this. They are steamrolling through Iraq (and parts of Syria) murdering any Shiites Iraqis they come across, then claiming responsibility for the murder of 1700 defenseless men. Not an ounce of shame in their announcements, not a scintilla of regret. These murdering Islamists who call themselves ISIS are proud of what they have done and will continue to do it so long as they are able.
They are the very definition of terrorists, because their mere existence is terrifying.
Is it just me – or does the threat of Islamic “extremism” seem to be getting worse with every new morning that we wake and President Obama is still the Commander-in-Chief? 2016 cannot come fast enough…
