Obama Released Worst Terrorist Who Has New York in His Sights

What did we hear for so many years during the Bush administration? Our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan would create terrorism. Bush’s wars would cause more danger in the world.
Well, evidently letting terrorists walk free is far worse than fighting and killing them.
The UK Daily Mail reports, “The United States once had Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams (ISIS) leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi (his friends call him Bag-Daddy…Yo) in custody at a detention facility in Iraq, but President Barack Obama let him go, it was revealed on Friday.”
al Baghdadi was among the prisoners released in 2009 from the U.S.’s now-closed Camp Bucca near Umm Qasr in Iraq.
Naturally it would be against Obama’s brilliant foreign policy simply to transfer some of the worst to Club Gitmo where he could have all the comforts of home. Actually, I’m quite sure the “detainees” have never had it as well as they have at Gitmo.
Is this what we have to look forward to with the release of the five radical Islamists Obama just “traded” away – five more ruthless, bloodthirsty, would-be extremist leaders? Remember the five he released were not no-nothing foot soldiers. These were part of the al-Qaeda brain trust.
But now, five years later Bag-Daddy is leading an army of ruthless extremists bearing down on Baghdad who want to turn the country into an Islamist state by blazing a bloody trail through towns and cities, executing Iraqi soldiers, beheading police officers and gunning down innocent civilians.
And as for the five year mark – no one really knows. No intelligence agency can determine when he became part of ISIS. Upon his release, did he just step into the role? Who knows?
He was evidently arrested in 2005 and ended up at Camp Bucca. The “why” of his detention is not known at this time. Maybe we can check Lois Lerner’s e-mail to find the reason.
All we know is that he was granted amnesty and released with thousands of other terrorists in 2009 as part of the United States pull out of Iraq.
Wow, I finally found something Obama is good at – granting amnesty.
I wonder how many terrorists or aspiring terrorists will be granted amnesty in this country. We already know that many of the illegal immigrant “children” are teenage MS-13 gang members, but that’s an article for another day.
Now, some speculate that Bag-Daddy didn’t even become a terrorist until after his release – the whole Bush drove him to it nonsense.
Well, I happen to believe that. Before being captured, Bag-Daddy was the owner/operator of a hummus stand in Fallujah at the corner of Saddam Street and Hussein Boulevard. Home of the 57 flavors!
Yes, that’s what happened. The Americans were just rounding up everyone indiscriminately, because that’s what Imperial colonialists do.
The 2005 intelligence reports that al Baghdadi “would round up individuals, or entire families, accuse them, pronounce sentence and publicly execute them” should be discounted.
So is this guy the new Osama bin Laden? He may be. Unfortunately, only time will tell us if ISIS is merely a regional threat or an international one. Bag-Daddy seems to think they are international being that he was recently quoted as saying, “See you in New York.”
And what of the five latest terrorists Obama just released? Will one of them go on to lead yet another terror organization? Will one of them be worse than Bag-Daddy, who is worse than bin Laden? Quite possibly. That appears to be our new foreign policy – replacing dictators with terrorists.
Well, maybe we should stop toppling dictators. It never works well for us and certainly not for the country’s own people. From Iran (yes Iran – remember the Shah, 1979), to Egypt, to Iraq, to Libya and Syria.
It seems the devil we don’t know is consistently worse than the one we do. As bad as the dictators are, they seem to keep the “worse” in check and that’s good for us.
