Of all the incredibly accurate predictions, nay, warnings, public officials said would happen should Obama take office, one seems eerily spot on, and it was predicted 7 years ago.

At a campaign event in 2007, Mitt Romney explained what could happen in unstable Iraq if troops were to wholly pull out.
“You could see in the Shia south, the Iranians reaching over and grabbing to take power. You could see in the Sunni northwest, the Al-Qaeda folks taking power and leadership in that area.”
“You could see the unrest among some of the Kurd populations and surrounding countries, perhaps destabilize the border of Turkey. And it’s even possible that you might think a regional conflict in the Middle East could occur if things really unraveled in Iraq.”
Using the promise of bringing all troops home from Iraq as a campaign staple, Obama assured that the best route concerning relations with Iraq would be removing troops from foreign soil.
Romney’s prediction rings strangely true considering the Iranian government has sent 2,000 troops to Iraq in the past few days.
Also one of Romney’s talking points, the al-Qaeda backed Muslim group called the ISIS has successfully captured Iraqi cities, and is moving to take Baghdad.
As of late, the Arab Spring, which Obama wrote off, has aroused Muslim tension in 17 nations.
