Nancy Pelosi: Iraq not our responsibility
Posted on Thursday, June 12 at 9:08am | By Carolyn Lochhead

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi made it clear Thursday that she would oppose renewed U.S. intervention in Iraq, which is under assault from Sunni forces sweeping down from the north.

The San Francisco Democrat said at her weekly press conference that there is “no appetite in our country to be engaged in any military activity in Iraq.”

She attributed Democratic gains in 2006 that gave her the House gavel to public exhaustion with the Iraq War.

No real surprises there. Only mildly surprising thing is Pelosi openly admitting it.

Nancy Pelosi must be smoking some of that marijuana in her district. She was Speaker of the House from 2007-2011. Many of her cronies were in key positions.

They have been thrown under the bus.
GOP House members came to Paul Ryan to be Speaker. He didn't come to them. And he was everybody's conservative darling back in 2012. So unless 1 of the remaining 240 wants to step up & do a better job in budgeting & negotiations & herding the party cats, then everybody please STFU. You go to battle with the army you have, not the one you want but don't have.

Totally.

November 6, 2012, a day in infamy...the death of a republic as we know it.
