Rwanda rebels lay down weapons in DR Congo
« on: June 11, 2014, 12:02:38 pm »
Scores of rebels from the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) have laid down their weapons in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as part of a voluntary disarmament exercise.

The rebels say they want to go back home to Rwanda and negotiate with the government.

Some of their leaders are wanted in Rwanda for their alleged involvement in a genocide two decades ago.

Al Jazeera's Catherine Soi reports from South Kivu, in eastern DRC.

I hate these sods passionately. If it were up to me, they'd be repatriated in very small boxes, and that would be a kindness, compared to the crap some of them pulled during the genocide.
The universe doesn't hate you. Unless your name is Tsutomu Yamaguchi
