"Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans."  -  President Donald J Trump

Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!.....
...They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own - brought in by parents at young age. Plus BIG border security

The definition of "conservative" has changed since Goldwater and Reagan's times.

1964-1989 (Nixon, Reagan were elected)

1989-2014 (Bush, Bush II were elected)

2014+ (?)

"God must love the common man, he made so many of them.  Abe Lincoln

Based on the article, Jeb Bush would be an awesome budget advisor.  In isolation, without reference to history, he might be a good president.  But we can't take things in isolation, and history exists, no matter how much one might want to deny it.  If the GOP wanted a President Jeb Bush then it should have run him rather than his brother Geo. W.  But they didn't, they ran, and elected, GWB.  And that historical fact, plus the historical fact of President GHWB means that there will not be a President Jeb Bush in 2016 or 2020.  Not even the Adamses got 3 in, and they were both better presidents than GHWB or GWB, and most likely better than a putative President Jeb Bush.

It's absolutely flabbergasting how ahistorical the GOP leadership are.  Like Charlie Brown and that infamous football, they aren't ignorant of history, they simply believe, against all odds (and common sense), that it won't happen this time.
