WATCH: Reagan’s ‘Boys of Pointe Du Hoc’ D-Day Commemoration

Thirty years ago, on the 40th anniversary of the D-Day landings, Ronald Reagan delivered one of the most iconic speeches of his presidency.

Speaking from Normandy, Reagan commemorated the sacrifices and heroism of the Allied soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy in 1944 in what has become known as “The Boys of Pointe du Hoc” speech. The speech was written by Peggy Noonan, who now is a columnist for the Wall Street Journal.
