"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

If Obama gets away with this with no repercussions, he will have proven to himself, to Congress, and to America, that he can do absolutely anything he wants to do, regardless of any customs, rules, or laws.

If he is not stopped or at least slowed on this crossed line, there is no telling what he may do next. Each time he ignores Congress and the Rule of Law and gets away with it, he is emboldened, and like a child, simply goes a step further the next time.

He must be stopped now, or he really will, in a very factual way, become America's first king. And there is no way to tell what he may do next. It could be literally anything, especially since he is approaching the end of his term. Anything at all. He has no restraints. None at all. And in his final days in office, he could open the gates of hell. Who would stop him?
