Obama to Illegally Fund Hamas-PLO Terror State

It’s not surprising that Obama will find a way to go on funding a unity government that includes a genocidal terrorist group that is on the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
It would be downright shocking if Obama stopped sending money to terrorists.
It’s illegal but since when has the law stopped Obama?
The law states that no foreign aid can be provided to “any entity effectively controlled by Hamas, any power-sharing government of which Hamas is a member, or that results from an agreement with Hamas and over which Hamas exercises undue influence.”
But not a problem at State.
Washington said Monday it will work with the Palestinian Arab unity government and maintain aid, while “watching closely” to ensure it respects the principle of non-violence, AFP reports.
Since the PA has never respected the principle of non-violence, why start now?
State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Washington believes Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has “formed an interim technocratic government… that does not include members affiliated with Hamas.”
“With what we know now, we will work with this government,” Psaki said.
More recently, Hamas announced that any “unity” government would be unequivocally subject to their approval before being established.
So this will be a unity government that answers to Hamas, but will not have any official members of Hamas who are currently in Hamas.
And that’s enough of an excuse for Obama to keep funding terrorists.
In Jerusalem, an Israeli official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said in a statement to reporters: “We are deeply disappointed by the State Department regarding working with the Palestinian unity government.”
Less anonymous officials are also unhappy.
Communications Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) on Monday evening criticized what he called the U.S. government’s “naiveté”, after the State Department said Washington was willing to work with the new Palestinian Authority unity government.
“Unfortunately, the American naiveté is breaking all records. Cooperating with Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist organization in the U.S. and which murders women and children is unacceptable,” he said.
Naivete isn’t the word here. Nazi collaborators weren’t naive. They knew exactly what they were doing.
PA leader Mahmoud Abbas said US Secretary of State John Kerry phoned him to discuss the peace process on Sunday night as he readied to formally announce a unified Fatah- Hamas government in Ramallah on Monday at 1 p.m.
And speaking of the principles of non-violence…
A terrorist opened fire on Monday night towards Border Police soldiers who were stationed at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria, near the city of Ariel.
The soldiers returned fire and killed the terrorist. One soldier was lightly wounded in the incident and was treated at the scene by army medics.
Gershon Mesika, head of the Shomron Regional Council, said on Monday night that the terrorists who carried out the attack were encouraged by the international backing of the Hamas-Fatah unity government.
“The terrorists are getting a boost from the recognition by the U.S. and Europe of the terrorist government of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority,” said Mesika.
