Cindy McCain rips Gwyneth Paltrow

Cindy McCain, the wife of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), is blasting Gwyneth Paltrow, calling the “Iron Man 3” actress “a joke.”
On Wednesday, McCain tweeted:

Gweneth Paltrow is a joke. Her life is like taking bullets for a soldier. What a joke! My 2 sons serving in the military should talk to her.

McCain appeared to be angered by recent comments Paltrow made in an interview with Re/Code. Paltrow — a frequent target of online attacks — likened critical Internet comments she received to surviving a war.
“You come across [online comments] about yourself and about your friends, and it’s a very dehumanizing thing,” Paltrow is quoted as saying in the piece. “It’s almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing, and then something is defined out of it.”
John McCain was a prisoner of war in North Vietnam. After calling Paltrow a “joke,” Cindy McCain, 60, added:

Perhaps Gweneth Paltrow should go out on patrol with some soldiers. Kind of like a Red Carpet in her mind I guess!
