So everybody gets a first-place ribbon.

How truly progressive.

Of course. We have a system where minorities have to progress through school at the same rate as whites, whether they learn or not. So minority HS graduates are often less educated than white ones. But they have to get admitted to college in the same proportions, so we have minority college students who are not up to the college academic level. But they have to be graduated at the same rates as whites, so we have minority college graduates who are well below average standards of education. But they have to be hired at the same rate as white graduates, so we have minority employees who are really not up to the job they have been hired for. And now we have reached he end, I think - these poorly educated minorities have to be rated as highly on the job as are the well educated and able whites. I'm sure this latest ruling also means that they will get promoted over better qualified whites.

The sad thing is that the people who are most hurt by this stuff are the well qualified blacks. Most people would assume (even if they don't admit it) that if they're dealing with a black person, that person is underqualified for the job they're supposed to be doing. It helps to not expect too much from the underqualified, but that sure is unfair to the competent. Oh, well.

The disparity was even greater for employees who were part of a union versus those who were not. Nonunionized employees received an average rating of 4.04; unionized employees received an average 3.79 rating.

That was probably the only valid part of the evaluation system.

Racism and bigotry are just A-OK as long as they  come from the left.
