Democratic Campaign Committee Confirms: Barack Obama is Less Popular than…. Bison??

Comparatively, the Yellowstone Bison Petition, —  has over 8,000 signatures.

Each year, as wild bison wander beyond the borders of Yellowstone National Park in search of food, Montana livestock officials demand that these iconic animals be rounded up and shipped to slaughterhouses to keep them out of Montana and to keep their numbers low.

Yellowstone is home to one of the last genetically pure wild herds of bison left in North America. This yearly slaughter not only prevents the herd from expanding… it also sets back bison restoration at other sites that could use Yellowstone bison to repopulate native herds.

Tell the Bison that You Have Their Back — Just make sure that they get enough votes to roam outside Yellowstone National Park.

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
Public virtue cannot exist in a nation without private, and public virtue is the only foundation of republics. There must be a positive passion for the public good, the public interest, honour, power and glory, established in the minds of the people, or there can be no republican government, nor any real liberty: and this public passion must be superior to all private passions.
