Jay-Z and Beyonce Embrace Gun Violence for Video

To promote their joint “On the Run” tour, A-list celebrity couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z shot a star studded trailer featuring a variety of celebrities like Sean Penn, Rashida Jones, Jake Gyllenhall, and Blake Lively and is filled with massive amounts of sex, disgusting language, and of course abnormal amount of gun violence.

What makes the modern day, gang-banger style Bonnie and Clyde ludicrous is the gross hypocrisy from some of those filmed, as well as the media that fails to scrutinize them. For example,  Beyoncé and Rashida Jones appeared recently in a PSA entitled “Demand A Plan” in which they demand the government create a plan to stop the school shootings.  The PSA is brought to you by Mayors Against Illegal Guns, which wants to restrict if not rid the country of guns.

So why is Beyoncé in a hyper violent ‘trailer” shooting an automatic weapon at the police who are chasing her?  Why are the leftist actors and actresses who abhor guns glorifying gun violence?  Is it perhaps because they can, and because they know no one in the media or any of the other anti-gun organizations will dare question the celebrity class?

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
Public virtue cannot exist in a nation without private, and public virtue is the only foundation of republics. There must be a positive passion for the public good, the public interest, honour, power and glory, established in the minds of the people, or there can be no republican government, nor any real liberty: and this public passion must be superior to all private passions. John Adams
