Disgusting: Head Of Democrat Party Just Gave Support To Murderers

It's also an insult to all women's rights (by anyone's definition.)

 Christopher Agee — May 15, 2014

For all their posturing regarding a woman’s ‘right’ to an abortion, it is obvious many leftists are only concerned with killing the unborn – not who actually facilitates the murder. That disturbing fact is apparent in recent comments by Democrat Party Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

She spoke out this week against a Florida bill that would prosecute any man who forces the expectant mother of his child to ingest an abortion pill. The legislation, known as the Offenses against Unborn Children bill, was developed in response to the publicity of Remee Jo Lee’s tragic story last year.

After Lee became pregnant, her boyfriend put an abortifacient drug in a mislabeled bottle, tricking her into causing her own miscarriage. Distraught at the loss of her child and the betrayal of her boyfriend, she attempted to seek some resolution through the judicial system.

To her dismay, Lee learned Florida is one of a number of states that does not have a law protecting an unborn child from harm by anyone. She soon became active in supporting the legislative measure expected to be signed into law by Gov. Rick Scott.

Wasserman-Schultz, however, voiced her implicit support for anyone – regardless of the desires of the mother – to be able to murder any unborn child.

“Florida Republican lawmakers have wasted taxpayers’ time and money by passing these extreme bills that further limit women’s reproductive rights,” she claimed. “It is senseless and it’s wrong.”

Of course, the Offenses against Unborn Children bill was designed with women’s reproductive rights in mind. The right of a woman who wants to keep her child, however, is apparently of little concern to the radical pro-death left.

In telling her story to national media outlets and in front of lawmakers, it is obvious how devastated Lee was at the loss of her child.

“I’m still here, but a big part of me is missing,” she said in an address to the House Judicial Committee in March.

Judging from the stated opinion of its leader, some might argue the Democrat Party is less interested in a woman’s right to choose than it is in a child’s obligation to die.
