Friday at the White House daily press briefing, ABC News chief White House correspondent Jon Karl grilled White House press secretary Jay Carney on the growing VA Hospital waiting line scandal.

"When you and others have been asked about the problems in terms of getting the health care they need and deserve, you've answered with talking points on disability claim backlogs," Karl said. "So, are you suggesting this is a problem that is limited to the Phoenix office?"

  • Your what hurts??
Baghdad Jay strikes again.  For years the Democrats have always held that it was the seriousness of the allegations that counted, not the veracity of the evidence, to go after innumerable Republican "scandals" real or imagined.

I stick to the point I made earlier.  As long as we are getting this kind of bullshit out of the White House, General Shinseki should not resign.  God only knows who Obama will try and slide in there to take his place, and no matter who it is, there would be one hell of a Confirmation battle in the Senate over these very "allegations and suggestions" as Baghdad Jay puts it.

This is not Benghazi, and this is not going away.  Too many Democrats have friends and family in the VA system, and these charges are too easy for those people to understand clearly.  This kind of spin from the White House is going to have extremely short legs...
