It's not unusual for Hollywood's finest to go through extreme body transformations to get into character.
But when the normally incredibly-toned Bradley Cooper sauntered on the set of new movie American Sniper looking decidedly fuller-framed, onlookers were left doing double-takes on Wednesday.
The 39-year-old, who has gained 40 pounds for the role by bulking up in the gym to play late real-life Navy SEAL Chris Kyle in the Clint Eastwood-directed movie, was spotted galumphing around the Californian set sporting a thick beard.
