The industrial parks like where the accident occurred, in my area, have posted speed limits of 25-35 mph.

So even the 55 mph claimed by the wife, was unsafe. Tree lined avenues are not a safe place to be horsing around with a race car.

She is looking for a negotiated settlement, because if it went to trial, Porsche would have top notch attorneys, and would be able to prove speeding and reckless driving caused the accident.

And the fact he was a trained race driver, would go to show he knew the dangers. Niki Lauda, Ayrton Senna, Jackie Stewart were just 3 well known race drivers that took stands for track and driver safety.

Turn our city streets into race courses, crash and die, is not the auto makers fault.

If the police reconstruction of the accident determined 94 mph, I'd wager it was closer to the truth, than Mark Geragos' version.
