Analysis: Obama's new voters don't vote in midterms
(CNN) – President Barack Obama admits his party has a problem: They don't vote.

"Democrats have a congenital defect when it comes to our politics, and that is we like voting during presidential years, and during the midterms we don't vote. And so you already have lower voting totals during the midterms, and it's our folks that stay home," Obama said at a fundraiser Thursday.

Meanwhile, a new Gallup poll shows Republicans have a 10-point lead in voter enthusiasm going into the midterms.

The dim voter base hasn't a clue about how our gov't works - either fed'l or local. They treat the Presidential election like voting for American Idol, or maybe Prom King & Queen. Midterm elections mean nothing to them, except in rare cases when the msm finds a candidate they want to cover 24/7. And it's also hard for the dim party to collect enough money to bus all their "voters" to the polls and give them whatever treats are sufficient.

I won't be surprised if the fall brings us a lot of campaign ads with 0bama urging his loyal followers to go to the polls for the "d"s. Unless his poll numbers stay in the tank, he can get his baae to do what he wants, understanding not necessary.
