Gaslighting is a form of mental abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory, perception and sanity .

The dims are very good at provoking the GOPers. And they're even better at editing comments from GOPers so that the GOPer looks like whatever target they need that week - racist, sexist, homophobe, or just emotionally unstable. And if they can't provoke the GOP leaders, they will find an obscure one to demonize.

This is going to be a real test of whether the GOP leadership can pick the right issues to campaign on and stay focussed. The electorate can probably follow two issues max over the rest of the campaign season (any more, and they just tune out). IMO, those issues should be Benghazi and 0bamacare. Any other issues (including Lois Lerner) should be handled quietly and in the background - or deferred, if possible. If they look like they're "piling on", they'll lose again.
