It would actually be easier for me to identify the ones I haven't seen. Maybe a half dozen or less on that list, mostly the oldest ones.

Most of the stuff after 2010 has been missed though - other stuff to do.



How the hell is "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" sci-fi? And seriously - is there a single person on the planet who has never seen Alien or Star Wars? Anyone who hasn't watched Serenity is simply not worth your time.

I'd prefer to forget watching Howard the Duck though. And they somehow left off the list one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time - "Dark Star." Seriously, if you find it, watch it twice. First time you'll laugh your socks off, second time gets you really thinking. And no Pitch Black? Come on!!! Who compiled this list?

We do tend to watch a lot of bad movies and MST3K the shit out of them. Got to do something when it's too hot to breathe.

Would truth_seeker rather watch  sci-fi movies, or go outside for a jog, bike ride or walk?

Outside every time. Except one,  when I saw "2001 A Space Odyssey "

I can remember seeing 119 all the way through. Most of them are in the earlier years.

Too Many. "2001" will always stick out. But if you want a Sci-Fi movie with action would be "Outland" directed by Peter Hyams. But ifs a Sci Fi-Television it would be the Twilight Zone and the Outer Limits. They had some sort social commentary at the time. The Best Sci-Fi episode would be "Time Enough at Last".

I liked Silent Running but they needed to get rid of the music of Joan Baez. It ruined the flow of the movie. Other than that its a very good film. I am a huge "Space:1999' fan if we are talking about English science fiction.
