Quote
Carney refused to answer questions directly about whether the White House would cooperate, but he noted that there had been 13 congressional hearings, 50 member-and staff briefings, and over 25,000 pages of documents produced over the September 11, 2012 terror attack, in which four Americans were killed.

And zero people in the administration held accountable for anything.

A positively Nixonian response.   :smokin:

Why the cover up?
"Last but not least, I was a Republican, a Reagan Republican. Still am. Not a Tea Party Republican. Not a Breitbart Republican. Not a talk radio or Fox News Republican. Not an isolationist, protectionist, immigrant-bashing, scapegoating, get-nothing-useful-done Republican. Not, as I am often dismissed by self-declared "real" conservatives, a RINO, Republican in Name Only. I'm a Reagan Republican, a proponent of lower taxes, less government, free markets, free trade, defense readiness, and democratic internationalism."

Why the cover up?

Republicans have managed to paint the administration into a corner.

If they don't own up to the cover up, they're exposed as abysmally incompetent to the degree of causing the death of four Americans.

I think that the GOP will probably start banging the incompetence drum as soon as Hillary hits the campaign trail.

All the have to do is acknowledge responsibility. The adult thing to do. Not that the WH is occupied by adults, by the looks of things. Back during the Falklands, Reagan said up front and publicly that he wouldn't help the UK or Argentina. Wasn't pleasant - but he took responsibility for it. A hell of a lot of the badly wounded from the Sir Galahad mysteriously wound up at the Walter Reed Medical Center, though.

There are some details on Benghazi that simply will never come out - or at least not until we are all long gone. That is as it should be and needs to be from time to time, to cover assets in place and let them keep working without a double tap when they ain't expecting it.

White House may not cooperate....

...well, they haven't yet.
What has changed that would make one think they would?
November 6, 2012, a day in infamy...the death of a republic as we know it.

Acknowledging responsibility equals acknowledging incompetence.

The only chance they have is to continue to deny and obfuscate, and trying to make the whole thing appear to be a witch hunt.
