Muslim Group Attacking 9/11 Memorial Museum

America it's 9-1-1 time again
New York is yet again under attack and needs the rallying of American heroes from sea to shining sea, to surround her, support her and protect her as they did on 9/12 2001.
The public relations arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America or (CAIR) The Council on American-Islamic Relations has launched a campaign to bring down a 7-minute film entitled, “The Rise of Al Qaeda.” This short film is set to show at the opening, next month, of the September 11 Memorial and Museum at the very location where the World Trade Center once stood. Make no mistake -- the 9/11 Memorial Museum is under attack!
CAIR is well known for its exploits and PR campaigns against anyone critical of Muslims or Islam. They are not interested in the truth, they are not interested in accurate history; they are interested only in self-preservation and nothing less. Like Al Qaeda, they launch attacks on the innocent while hiding behind facades of concern by making false claims and then crying bigotry and Islamophobia to frighten the timid.
If this current PR campaign doesn't achieve its ends by getting entities like the 9/11 Memorial to buckle to their pressure, then an alternative game plan in their war on America, legal action, will be employed to attempt to achieve their goals.
So what's their beef?
islam2This time CAIR working to whitewash history by requesting the removal of the words “Islamists” and “jihad” from the main video on "who" attacked America on 9/11 2001. These terms refer to the ideology, the mindset of the terrorists, which CAIR is trying to bury. CAIR fantasizes that the devout Muslims who perpetrated the acts of terror on 9/11 have no basis for their actions in Islam. But I beg to differ.
Let's take a look at just a few examples that seem to justify the actions of Al Qaeda:
Qur'an 2:191 “Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them.”
Qur'an 9:123 “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.”
Qur'an - 5:51 "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other."
Qur'an 9:5 “When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them.”
Qur'an 3:85 “Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.”
Qur'an 9:30 “The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them.”
Qur'an 5:33 “Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam”
Qur'an 9:28 “The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque.”
Qur'an 9:29 "Fight Those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, form among the People of the Book, until they pay Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."
Qur'an 22:19 “Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies.”
Qur'an 8:65 “The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.”
Qur'an 3:28 “Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.”
Qur'an 8:12 “Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.”
Qur'an 8:60 “Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.”
Qur'an 47:4 “Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them.”
Qur'an 48:29 “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves.”
Sahih Muslim 33 - "I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah."
Sahih Muslim 4366 - "I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslims."
Remember 9-11Given these facts, it is completely appropriate for the 9/11 museum to use the term “jihadist” and “jihad” to describe Al Qaeda terrorists and their actions. After all, in World War II, Nazis were referred to as Nazis, because they themselves claimed to be Nazis. It is the same with those who commit acts of terror in the name of jihad. Further, being historically accurate absolutely does not tarnish the image of all Muslims, as CAIR claims.
No one ever thought of all Japanese as Kamikazes or all Germans as Blitzkriegers -- even during WWII. And no American today thinks that all Muslims are Jihadists. Americans are decent people who bend over backwards to make sure these issues are dealt with in a sensitive caring manner. Or, as in the case of an NBA owner who says ugly racist things about African-Americans -- has them fired and fined.
It would be a tragic mistake if the 9/11 Memorial and Museum was to whitewash accurate information about those who perpetrated this evil attack against America. History must be portrayed in context -- if for no other reason than to help prevent it from happening again to an ignorant generation who fails to understand the enemy America faced in 2001. Scrubbing these words from the film only increases the chance of history repeating itself.
Removing accurate descriptions of those who perpetrated this heinous crime not only would be factually incorrect, it would be a slap in the face of all Americans.
Beyond that, if Jihad truly means to inner “struggle” and not warfare to establish the religion globally, how does CAIR explain the names of terrorist organizations such as these?
• Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (Pakistan, Bangladesh, India)
• Islamic Front for Armed Jihad (Algeria)
• Islamic Jihad for the Liberation of Palestine (Lebanon)
• Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (Israel)
• Islamic Jihad Organization (Lebanon)
• Islamic Jihad Union (Uzbekistan)
• Jama’at al-Jihad al-Islami (Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia)
• Laskar Jihad (Indonesia)
• United Jihad Council (India)
No one can deny the fact that there is a connection between Islam and Jihad and between Jihad and terrorism. The reality is Jihad is a tenet of Islam. Saying anything less would be dishonest.
This is America's chance to once again stand up and support New York and rally to her cries for help. The National September 11 Memorial and Museum officials must hear what the rest of America thinks about this issue, otherwise the only ones they will hear from are groups like CAIR, and those who care more about their community of faith than the country in which they live. To erase these terms from the 9/11 video is to erase the Museum itself and the reason all those innocent Americans died that tragic day.
