You'd be surprised. They can screw up a garden in no time at all.
They are rather fond of some vegetables - especially carrots and courgettes for some reason. Unlike dogs, they bury their scat, which means digging. Their urine is highly corrosive to plants, as is the scent markers they spray. And the bastards love digging holes at random in well tilled soil to make their beds.
