Denver Schools Seeking Illegal Alien Teachers

That seems like a reasonable move, but why stop there. What about seeking out rapists and murderers as teachers in the classroom? Just think of how much that criminal element could contribute to the educational process.

Denver Public Schools administrators believe they are the first school district in the nation to actively seek out people who were initially brought to the United States illegally to now teach in the classroom.

Finally, Denver PS came up with an idea so terrible that no one had through it before. It was a proud moment.

“We look forward to increasing the number of great teachers who are in our classrooms and who are also role models for children who have similar cultural backgrounds and life experiences,” Tom Boasberg, superintendent of Denver Public Schools, said.

DPS is working with Teach for America to bring people with an official status of “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” as determined by the federal government.

Denver has a significant population of students who are undocumented, and Boasberg believes this effort will help serve those families.

Teach for America was originally started to recruit high end college grads to teach in public schools. That didn’t go so well, so now it’s recruiting illegal aliens.

Next stop, homeless teachers.

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
Public virtue cannot exist in a nation without private, and public virtue is the only foundation of republics. There must be a positive passion for the public good, the public interest, honour, power and glory, established in the minds of the people, or there can be no republican government, nor any real liberty: and this public passion must be superior to all private passions.
