A good exercise in common sense is listing the smallest states by population, and asking would they voluntarily surrender their disproportionate power and influence by agreeing with this?

It is not close.  They've managed to get pretty much all of the far left states, but they are only 1/2 way to their goal.  While they might get a few more states, the rest of the big ones are not going to cave to this Democrat plot and the little ones are not going to give up what electoral power they have.
