New revelations about mom killed by capitol police

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."

Sad.

I wanted to say something like "this is the law enforcement everyone wanted", or the left anyway but it seems to apply to many on the right as well.   From those that want to wage the war on drugs and give the local police armored vehicle support to those that believe you should not show any responsibility in protecting yourself to those that pardon anything and everything LE does,  this is what you end up with.  The examples keep rolling in on police executions that go completely unpunished.

Nothing seems to make sense, to justify, to rationalize the absurdity of what we have created, so I will refer back to my first comment:  sad.
