I always considered trigger warnings to be fairly innocuous. What is the fuss?

If I write an article on rape survival, death guilt, or dealing with domestic abuse (yes, written, several times) I consider it a politeness. A warning to readers to saddle up or peek from behind the cushion, cause it ain't going to be comfortable for some of them.

Some outlets insist on them. Personally, I think that is click bait, but hey, $100 is $100 and it's 28 words of copy less.
