Delusional Obama Loses It Over Obamacare Failures

Fresh off another Obamacare website crash, President Obama on Tuesday jumped on his critics' cases and took the country on a tour through Fantasyland.

During his rant, Obama essentially blamed all the problems with Obamacare on his critics, who in his delusional thinking want to keep people from getting health care. (And here you thought we were all just one-dimensional racists.)

"Why are folks working so hard for people not to have health insurance?" Obama demanded. "Why are they so mad about the idea of folks having health insurance?"

But he saved his toughest words for those chaotic evil folks who would dare to attempt to repeal his precious Obamacare. He insisted that since some of the benefits -- the ones he hasn't unconstitutionally delayed, at least -- have begun to kick in, it would be nearly impossible anyway to untangle America from Obamacare's spaghetti-like tendrils.

"The debate over repealing this law is over. The Affordable Care Act is here to stay," he said, glowering for emphasis.

Should anyone -- other than himself -- try to eliminate or delay any of Obamacare's benefits, they will have some 'splainin' to do, he implied. That would be "those who have based their entire political agenda on repealing it."

Obamacare has been a success, according to the president. A. Resounding. Success.

"7.1 million Americans have now signed up for private insurance plans through these market places. 7.1! Yep," he said.

He actually said, "yep."

That's pride of ownership. Sort of like that exhibited by my friend when he bought his first car, a rusted out Javelin that consumed a quart of oil for every gallon of gasoline and had a view of the street through the back seat floor. Nothing could convince him it wasn't the best car ever. Or that he wouldn't one day use it to become a stock car racing champion.

The president is seriously convinced that Obamacare -- of whose enrollment figures Charles Krauthammer said, "This is a phony number" -- will earn him a place in the history books (as if scandals and usurping of Congress' authority won't).

"In the end history is not kind to those who would deny Americans their basic economic security," he said. "Nobody remembers well those who stand in the way of Americans' progress."

He might want to repeat that line in front of a mirror a few times until he gets the irony, because right now, he seriously does not. If it's his handlers telling Obama that the Affordable Care Act is working, he better watch out, because they're fitting him for a new set of invisible clothes.

Memo to the President: It's not the having of health care that is the problem, it's the being forced to purchase and being financially strangled for not having your particular name-brand of overpriced corrupto-care that's the problem.
