A MURDERER in prison has been told that he will become the UK’s youngest grandfather - at the age of 27.
His daughter is 13 and pregnant to a teenager of the same age. The prisoner had his daughter when he was 14.
However The Sun reports that he begged her not to have the baby. Neither the prisoner nor his daughter can be identified for legal reasons. He is serving time for killing a bystander who tried to stop a robbery.
The girl’s friends took to Facebook to congratulate the teenager, who is five months pregnant.
“Hurry up and push that baby out. You and ******* are going to be the best mum and dad,” one post reads.
Her mother, who is 28, refused to comment.
But a source said of the praise lavished on the pregnant daughter by her friends: “It’s disgusting.
“The girls round here think this is what you do — and make out it’s a good thing she’s pregnant. She thinks she’s a bit of a rebel.
“My mum would have killed me if I got pregnant at that age.”
The previous youngest grandad — Shem Davies, of Bridgend, South Wales — was 29. He was a dad at 14 and his daughter got pregnant at 15.
