And thus we can confidently predict a democrat party sweep due largely to the GOP's circular firing squad.

To these GOP donors:  would a President Hilary Clinton be better all around than a President Rand Paul?

Here we go.  I wondered what they would use to bring Rand Paul down, because it didn't seem that anyone could dig up any dirt on him.  They're going to paint him as an isolationist kook like his dad.  I guarantee there are meetings going on behind closed doors with Huckabee and Santorum to get them to run again to stir up the social conservatives against Rand Paul.

The sad, unbelievable answer to your question is YES.  They would rather have Hillary than Rand Paul.  Who is the bigger threat to the status quo?

A lot of these donors are unconcerned about the country as we understand it.  They interpret "the country" to mean the military industrial complex and corporate governance infrastructure they control.  Hillary will keep these institutions intact.  Rand Paul will attempt to reform them.  Also, by all indications, Hillary is easily corruptible whereas Paul is not.  Therefore, Paul is the bigger threat.
