"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."

Typical Dem thinking. They try to buy respect. The rest of us earn it.

Article title:
[[ Biden: We Need Illegal Alien Amnesty to South America Will Respect Us ]]

In 1986 there was an amnesty for two million (or so) illegals.

More came, by the millions.

So now, we're to have -another- amnesty, this time for 13-20 million (because no one really knows how many are here now).

How many tens of millions more will head this way, knowing there will be no penalties, but only rewards, for their transgressions?

What percentage of South America will try to come here?

Has anyone ever read Jean Raspail's "The Camp of the Saints" ???
