Well, Christians are called to minister to the sinners, not merely to the saved, and I cannot think of a worthier candidate for the Pope's ministrations than Herr Obama.

True that, but, this is not ministering to the sinners. This is a photo op, a ruse, a hoax that the Pope is being used to further.
Obama couldn't give 2 shiiites about the Pope's ministering.

Not to tread on too many toes, but I imagine that Christ would give Obama his photo op as well
