Carter: Obama may be embarrassed to discuss race issues
« on: March 26, 2014, 08:59:18 PM »
Former President Jimmy Carter is suggesting that President Obama may be reluctant to talk about issues affecting African-Americans because he himself is an African-American.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Carter likened the situation to female lawmakers who are loath to discuss women's issues.

Carter told HuffPost Live:

"Some women when they are elected become champions of human rights. I've seen other women who are elected who didn't pay any attention to that particular thing because it was kind of an embarrassment to them to single out women since they were a woman — like I think it might be an embarrassment to President Obama to single out African American people."

Worth noting: Both Carter and Obama are scheduled to speak next month at a summit marking the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights of 1964, an event to be held at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas.

omg.  how much more senile can one get and still manage to breathe?  obama has talked about such nonsense frequently, as he did when he trotted out his new brother's keeper nonsense.

What should embarrass OPapaDoc is the fact that he positioned himself as ha half-white, half-black messiah who would heal the nation's racial wounds.  Once elected, he did everything in his power to exploit the racial divide for his personal political gain.  It's a shame because he might have been a great president had he been a uniter rather than a divider.

But then maybe he'd be sans testicles thanks to Jesse Jackson.
