Obama to end NSA's bulk collection of phone data

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

330 million people cheer.

In other news, another 6.5 billion people are still pissed off.

And for those who really think NSA will just meekly stop monitoring all communications:  I have some gently used urban infrastructure in Brooklyn for sale.

yah...funny how Obama managed to put that on the NSA and pretend like he's doing something great.

Who ya gonna trust....the NSA that is manned by professionals with top secret (or better) credentials, or Barry Obama who likely couldn't pass a piss test??

I don't believe it, not for one second.  Obama is too paranoid to let spying on his enemies go away.  The NSA may stop spying but my guess would be government spying will continue in another department of government, under a different name, with a different excuse for it's existence.
