KAMPALA (Reuters) - The death toll has risen to 107 after a boat capsized in a lake along the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo at the weekend, police said on Monday after recovering more bodies.

The boat carrying mostly Congolese refugees tipped over early on Saturday, and police have blamed the accident on the fact that the boat was overloaded, a common factor in similar tragedies in the east African country.

These boats are lethal. Scary as hell to watch them, load limits are treated more as minimal suggestions than anything else.
