Not many years ago, during Bush II we were hoping the "peoples' rebellion" in Iran would topple the govt.

From what I know about Iran, the majority inside the country do NOT support the mullah religious-extremist dictatorship.

My wife works with a couple of gals from Iran. They are totally western. If they go home to visit relatives, they must scarf-up to avoid harassment by the religious police.

The the extent we can keep open communication with right-thinking Iranians, I support any US President, Bush, Obama.
