Obama: It’s Your Fault You Can’t Afford Obamacare

Have you ever had someone tell you that they know better? Have you ever known quite well that you actually know better, but had an arrogant schmuck try to enlighten you regardless? It’s infuriating. Have you ever shown someone the facts, yet they still continue to preach the same garbage? We’ve all experienced this aggravation at one point or another in our lives, and it’s one of the most difficult things to endure without going on a slapping spree. Well, our all-knowing, and gracious president went on Spanish TV, and incited that all too familiar rage inside me.

During a town hall style meeting, a questioner asked:

“I make about $36,000 per year, and the minimum here is around $315 dollars per month. I think that’s too much for me.”

And this is how Obama responded. These are the actual words that came out of his mouth.

“I guess what I would say is if you looked at that person’s budget, and you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill, other things that they’re spending on, it may turn out that it’s just that they haven’t prioritized healthcare, because right now everybody’s healthy. Nobody actually wants to spend money on health insurance until they get sick…I guarantee you that even at $300 a month, if–heaven forbid–something happened to him, or a family member, where they got sick…he will wish that he had paid that $300 a month.”

I’m sorry, are we children? Does Obama think that we need to be told how to prioritize our lives so that we can afford the healthcare nobody wants? In the face of the mountains of evidence, and personal experiences that tell us just how unaffordable Obamacare is, Obama has an answer. He unceremoniously declares that all of our evidence, and experiences are irrelevant, if we would simply budget. Oh! Goodness me! How simple! If only he had said that from the beginning, I would have totally understood that I was the one being selfish.

It’s not as if we are now being forced to buy this overpriced, bloated garbage monster Obama is trying to pass off as insurance in which a 68-year-old, single man is required to have maternity care. Oh wait, we are. Additionally, we are the ones who are supposed to budget? If I’m following the example of the leader of the free (not so free) world, I would never budget. I would simply continuously borrow money, and spend wildly beyond my means.

So, sorry if I don’t want to be lectured by a hypocritical windbag, who has no business leading this country. Obama is not only incompetent, he is a jackass for the ages, a true example of how not to behave. Thanks for the suggestion, Barack. Personally, I’d rather give up Obamacare to pay for my Netflix, so at least I’ll be entertained as we continue our transformation into a dictatorship.

There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
Public virtue cannot exist in a nation without private, and public virtue is the only foundation of republics. There must be a positive passion for the public good, the public interest, honour, power and glory, established in the minds of the people, or there can be no republican government, nor any real liberty: and this public passion must be superior to all private passions.
